Driver to lose sight after acid attack
A fast food delivery driver may lose sight in both eyes after a corrosive substance was thrown in his face. The 32-year-old driver was attacked after being approached by two men on a scooter in Walthamstow, east London, at 6pm on Thursday.
The men attempted to steal his moped and a corrosive substance was repeatedly thrown in his face.
The victim remains in a life-threatening condition in a London hospital. Another similar attack is also being investigated by police.
