New financial boss for power outfit Aggreko

- By SCOTT REID

Aggreko has a new chief financial officer following the revelation this summer that Carole Cran is to take up the same position at Forth Ports.

Heath Drewett will be joining the board and the executive team of the Glasgowbased temporary power manufacturer and supplier once he has completed his commitments with Snc-lavalin, which is expected in the first quarter of 2018.

Cran will be leaving Aggreko at the end of December, it was confirmed yesterday.

Drewett, who will receive a base salary of £460,000, is described as an “experienced finance professional, working in the engineering, leisure, transportation and industrial sectors”. He was the group finance director at WS Atkins where, following the acquisition of Atkins by Snc-lavalin, he was most recently appointed president. Aggreko chief executive Chris Weston said: “Heath is an experienced CFO and proven leader and I look forward to working with him.”
