Heart of Midlothian Homeward bound
Some international weekends you miss the Hearts game but this one came as a relief and a chance to regroup. Our squad supplies a fair few international players and, reassuringly, Christophe Berra’s half-time substitution was not for an injury, as he has carried the team this year. Aaron Hughes also played, better some would say than his form for us. He might be an option at right-back, with Michael Smith at left.
Sunday should see our long-awaited return to Tynecastle, with so much now expected. It’s my nature to be positive but, in the social media age, unrest or anger can foment quickly and we need to rediscover a winning formula. What better time and place to start than Tynecastle on Sunday?
