48% of Britons ‘just about managing’
Almost half of the UK population consider themselves to be just about managing financially, according to a survey.
A total of 48 per cent people who took part in the questionnaire identify as so-called Jams.
Aberdeen tops the list at 72 per cent, closely followed by Worcester at 67 per cent.
The research from Provident Personal Credit saw 2,000 UK adults take part, with 15 per cent saying they had to give up necessities like food and daily travel costs to pay for unexpected expenses.
