#KEZIADUGDALE

The former Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale was evicted from I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. She will remain in Australia until the show finishes. @Julian5news tweeted “Kezia Dugdale says she went into the TV jungle to show politicians are ‘not all like Stanley (Johnson)’; he is 4th fav to win, she has just been evicted.” @Michael_mooney said: “Feeling a bit sorry for @kezdugdale – to paraphrase, ‘Kez tried to reveal herself to the world, and instead the world revealed itself to Kez’.” @lauren__g10 posted: “Kezia Dugdale’s seemingly endless capacity for ensuring she remains relevant is honestly a pure cringe.” @edwhitfield shared: “Well done, @kezdugdale. That milkshake of ostrich and pig anuses will have done a lot to engage young people in the intricacies and importance of political debate. Anyway, enjoy your fee.”

#DRIVINGTEST

The new driving test looks at people’s ability to follow satnav instructions. But it has led to instructors going on strike. @Colin10971 said: “Boo hiss. The test should be difficult as that’s the only test these people will ever take so they need to be competent, not just scrape through. I can’t wait to teach my daughter to drive.” @Michailmud posted: “Do the AI robots have to pass the test?” @Colarmstrong tweeted: “People need to learn to drive first then learn to drive with one of these” @sdwalsh98 offered: “I don’t understand why you need to be tested on a satnav? If you can drive a car the old test was fine, you naturally adapt to what you need to do” @Hansgrubertron noted: “The new driving test will focus on more realistic scenarios, such as trying to eat a Mcnugget meal while navigating rush hour traffic.”

#RYANJACK

Rangers are set to appeal the red card shown to Ryan Jack in the club’s 2-1 defeat of Aberdeen on Sunday. It was a decision which provoked much discussion. @Cameron_hill00 wondered: “How can ye appeal an ankle-breaking challenge like that?” @Idancelikeshota suggested: “That Ryan Jack challenge in slow motion looks a sore one but real life isn’t slow motion. It all happened quickly, he went in hard, won the ball and I don’t think he’s stamped down on him, hope we appeal it.” @gazhorne offered: “It’s not 1970 anymore. It’s serious dangerous play, regardless if he wins the ball or not. Been a red card offence for years.”
