Bogus workmen rob pensioner in his own home

A pensioner has been robbed in Armadale by two bogus tradesmen wearing balaclavas.

The 84-year-old man was at home in Mayfield Drive when the two workers claiming to be from the gas board came to his door about 6am on Saturday. The workers were allowed into the house after asking to check for a gas leak. They proceeded to steal the pensioner’s bank card, utilities cards and robbing him of a threefigure sum of cash.
