Brechin City Left in the cold

-

After a farcical postponement on Saturday, there was much frustration. Are fans important to clubs when you’re treated like this?!

Brechin had geared up for a crucial game at the bottom of the Championship as we travelled to Falkirk. There was no mutter of a pitch inspection. The Supporters’ Club bus left at the scheduled time of 10:30am only to be greeted with updates on social media at 11:22 from the SPFL and 11:25 from Falkirk that there was an inspection at 11:30! Lo and behold, the game was called off at 11:45 with the bus already halfway there. Many travelling fans decided to head back to support our neighbours Montrose in their hunt for title glory in League 2. As always, a hospitable welcome awaited at Links Park!
