Dumbarton Net loss

-

After the victories and success in November we’re starting to come back down to earth. We deserved something on Saturday against Dunfermline but our lack of a goalscorer was very apparent. It alarmed me to see we are now the division’s lowest scorers, which is something I wouldn’t normally associate with ourselves.

Rumours have been flying about since then with Iain Russell, Andy Stirling and Derek Lyle all being linked to the club. It will be a case of “one in one out” if we are to make any changes to the squad so the team may look very different after January. The games don’t get any easier with St Mirren visiting this week. It’s also coming to the part of the season where you start looking at other results – so come on Morton!
