Alexander Moffat OBE RSA: A View of the Nation

Sandy Moffat’s Poet’s Pub, a group portrait of Hugh Macdiarmid and his circle of poets, is a 20th century icon. Since completing that work in 1980, Moffat has painted many of Scotland’s leading artists and literary figures and they are brought together in Alexander Moffat OBE, RSA, A View of a Nation at the Open Eye Gallery in Edinburgh.
