Gang of youths attack lone pizza delivery driver

The 28-year-old was attacked by a group of about six male youths on a footpath at Newfield Place in the Toryglen area.

The incident occurred at about 1am.

The gang, who were with three females, punched and kicked the delivery driver before stealing his blue Domino’s baseball cap and the keys to his silvercolo­ured VW Polo car.

The driver sustained cuts to his face and a nose injury, but did not need hospital treatment.
