Last orders later: Beer firm Brewdog extends investment deadline

Craft beer specialist Brewdog has pushed back the investment deadline for its Equity for Punks crowdfunding programme due to “unprecedented” demand. It launched the fundraising in October, aiming to bring in £10 million in an initial 90-day period, but has raised more than £11.3m from more than 24,000 investors. The deadline is now 15 October, or when the maximum of £50m is reached. This will be used in part to launch a £10m craft beer brewery in Asia, and pour £3m into growing its network of UK Brewdog bars.
