About the author

Allister (“Ashie”) Brebner was born in Aberdeen in 1935, and in 1963 he co-founded the nature and outdoor guiding company, Highland Safaris. In Beyond the Secret Howff, published by Luath (£9.99), he looks back on the early days of Scottish skiing and mountaineering.
