Man assaulted in suspected glass bottle attack

A man was treated in hospital for serious facial injuries after being attacked by another male wielding a glass bottle.

Detectives are appealing for information following the serious assault in the Govanhill area of Glasgow, which occurred on Saturday, 23 December, 2017.

They said that at around 3pm, the 38-year-old victim was on Calder Street when he was attacked.

The suspect then made off along Daisy Street. The suspect is described as white, between 45 and 55 years old, of slim build, with ginger-brown hair and heavy ginger stubble.
