Green light for huge city development

-

Hundreds of homes and a new hotel are to be built to the west of Glasgow city centre after plans for a mixed-use development were given the go-ahead.

The blueprints include proposals for shops and 300,000 sq ft of office space.

Central Quay is being brought forward by Harbert Management Corporation and XLB Property, together with Keppie and LDA Design.

Tony Lawson, of XLB, said: “Central Quay is a significant site and its regeneration is long overdue. It will now provide a major new mixed-use quarter.”
