Police search home in hunt for elderly pensioner

Specialist officers will search the home of a pensioner who has been missing for ten days.

William Ritchie, 90, was reported missing from his home in West Road, Fraserburgh, on 14 January.

He is described as about 5ft 7’ tall of slim build, with short grey hair. It was not known what he was wearing when he went missing.

A major search operation has involved Police Scotland’s helicopter, a dog-and-dive unit and extensive house-to-house inquiries.

Mr Ritchie was last seen on CCTV at Asda in Fraserburgh.
