Partick Thistle Professional display
It was good to see the Jags back in competitive action last weekend and, more importantly, come through a tough game at Palmerston Park. Many outsiders would have seen the game against Queen of the South as a potential shock but Thistle were professional and gave them the respect they deserved. The only disappointment was the draw the following day which gave us the toughest tie of the next round against the holders at Celtic Park.
It was great to see captain Abdul Osman and Callum Booth return. There is no doubt the side looked more balanced, and with Conor Sammon again among the goals, and Baily Cargill joining on loan from Bournemouth, things are starting to look better for Alan Archibald.
