Hibernian Allan shows his class
Last Wednesday, Hibs indulged in a fair amount of trading long into the evening. The most dramatic move was the return of Scott Allan, who had departed in somewhat acrimonious circumstances in 2015. Before Scott had finalised his transfer back to Easter Road, Motherwell were defeated 2-1, with new striker Kamberi scoring and generally impressing.
Allan’s second debut was at Ibrox, and he proved he has lost none of his class with an imperious display, as Hibs secured a remarkable victory given the defensive crisis which had beset the squad prior to kick-off. If Allan and others provided the guile, young Porteous personified the determination which is a trademark of Neil Lennon’s side.
