Four last chances in the first phase at Milltimber
As the first phase of homes at the landmark Oldfold Village development in Milltimber to the west of Aberdeen draws to a close, with just four fivebedroomed properties remaining, Cala Homes has taken a closer look at the impact the milestone community has already made in the area.
The development has so far welcomed 46 families including 64 children and 14 pets – the first residents in what promises to become a thriving new community.
The housebuilder has used around 341,500 pieces of blockwork on the homes, garages and walls as well as 103,250 roof tiles and has laid 1,230 metres of road as the neighbourhood begins to take shape.
More than 280 new trees have been planted in the 6.37 acres of green space at Milltimber Grange.
Uniquely, the development also features a Victorian aqueduct which runs through the middle of Oldfold Village.
However, this is just the beginning of what is going to be a significant development when complete.
Cala Homes plans to build 550 homes as well as a brand new primary school.
