Dumbarton Heavy workload

- Jack Crawford

Having our game called off on Saturday came as a surprise and it’s another midweek game we’re going to have to deal with at the end of the season. For a part-time team these Tuesday night games make all the difference with players putting in a full day’s work before kick-off. They could prove to be critical.

And, with no disrespect to Brechin who should have beaten us in September, it was a great chance to keep in touch with Falkirk. Fortunately the Bairns were beaten on Saturday but on Tuesday night they extended their gap over us to six. I’d much rather have the points on the board than the games in hand. We could come back from our cup escapades with all the work in the world to do.
