Police appeal after teenager robbed

A 14-year-old boy was punched in the face in a “callous and opportunistic attack” by a man who stole his phone.

The teenager was walking along King Street in Paisley, Renfrewshire, around 6:30pm on Wednesday when a man stopped him and asked to borrow his mobile phone. He then punched the boy in the face and ran off.

The victim then told two police officers out on patrol whathadhappenedtohim.
