Rankin quits as PFA chief

-

PFA Scotland is looking for a new chairman after John Rankin stepped down.

The Queen of the South midfielder has been in the position for more than five years and the players’ union confirmed he was stepping aside to focus on other commitments, including a Hearts academy coaching role.

The former Dundee United and Hibernian player said: “I will miss the role, but I feel the time is right for someone else to take over as chairman and help PFA Scotland grow even further.”
