#SCOTLAND

Scotland got their Six Nations campaign back on track with a hard-earned 32-26 victory over France at Murrayfield. @lmtaylor3996 said: “Thoroughly enjoyable game of rugby between two good sides. Scotland just about deserved the victory today and needed it after being destroyed by Wales last week. France improving but still not quite at the level to see out a test match.” @Khayden2412 commented: “Well done to Scotland, it was a good game, they played it well and kept the pace up throughout.” @Clive_chap offered: “Brilliant punditry from Paul O’connelll, ‘Both teams were their own worst enemy!’ A bizarre game from two teams prone to brain explosions.” @Mcardle_owen added: “That was some proper Six Nations rugby in that second half. Not one of the more edifying spectacles that we’ve seen in recent years in the tournament, but a superb Scotland win nonetheless.”

#EQUALPAY

Hundreds of women marched through Glasgow on Saturday demanding equal pay from the city council as the long-running issue rumbles on. @christina014_ said: “Went to the #Equalpay march & rally today to hear from council workers who have been discriminated against for decades.” @Pauljsweeney commented: “I am trying to do the right thing by women workers. Those who are trying to score political points or virtue signalling, when no party has clean hands over the issue of Equal Pay, are the only ones being hypocritical. Equality is something we should all work together to deliver.” @Stewartmcdonald said: “If I were a Labour politician in Glasgow the sole reason that I’d have for turning up to an equal pay demo would be to offer every woman there an apology. It takes some brass neck to try lecture @Susaninlangside only months after the public relieved them of the burden of office.” @Allancasey89 offered: “Labour’s hypocrisy is astounding. Carried out a ten year legal battle fighting it costing the council millions and then rock up at equal pay demos claiming they support the woman who they have been fighting all this time.”
