Rangers In good shape

The cup was kind to us, both in our 6-1 win against Ayr and in landing a home quarter-final tie against Falkirk. It should now be a competition that we have a good chance of winning.

On the back of the Ayr game, I thought the front two of Alfredo Morelos and Jason Cummings worked well. It’s something we should be trying at Ibrox, especially against teams in the bottom six. If we are up against a five-man opposing midfield, one of them would have to drop in, but in terms attacking, we should definitely be giving this another go.

We now have plenty of options and flexibility in terms of shapes and systems. Hopefully we do go 4-4-2 against Hamilton on Sunday and blow them away.
