Hibernian Rest in peace, Liam

- Stevie Sideburns

It was a strange sensation for a Hibs fan to be on the outside looking in on a Scottish Cup weekend. However, I like to keep my glass half full, and the free Saturday gave Hibs’ injured players more recovery time before this week’s match against Aberdeen. Tickets sales would indicate there could be a crowd approaching 20,000, which illustrates the potential of both teams when competing at the top end.

The game provides an opportunity for supporters to show their appreciation of Liam Miller, who has tragically died at the age of 36. Liam entertained in a Hibs side which, for a brief period, played exciting football and looked capable of great things. It is terribly sad that such a young man has lost his life. Rest in peace, Liam.
