Flight delayed due to ‘pothole’ at airport
Passengers on a Ryanair flight bound for the Canary Island were delayed for more than two hours because of “a pothole” at Prestwick Airport.
The Fuerteventura flight was set to jet off from the west of Scotland airport at Sunday at 6.10am, but was delayed because of a problem with the aircraft. Passengers reported that the pilot listed “a pothole” as a possible reason for the delay.
Ryanair have since apologised to passengers.
A spokeswoman said: “This flight was delayed due to a minor technical issue.”
