- By SCOTT REID

Hand Picked, the jobs programme set up and run by CR Smith boss Gerard Eadie, has appointed a project coordinator as it looks to build up its network of supporters.

In her new role, Sara Blair will strengthen links with employers, coordinate and deliver training to candidates through the Hand Picked academies and connect the programme to a growing number of schools and other partner agencies.

Run on a charitable basis by CR Smith and supported by a Scottish Government grant, Hand Picked has been designed to develop job seeking skills, build confidence and provide real work experience for young people aged 16-25 looking for employment.
