Dundee Murray is forgiven
Dundee fans are now rapidly deleting posts about Simon Murray from his dark days at United. Now that he is scoring late doubles to secure three points in critical relegation battles, his tangerine past has been forgiven.
Murray missed a few decent chances earlier on against Thistle, but by his own admission he was perhaps trying too hard to open his account for his boyhood club. Now that he is up and running, he will hopefully be the solution to our goalscoring woes. Although he deserves the plaudits for his double, it was the introduction of A-jay Leitch-smith which turned the game on its head. The Thistle defence had difficulty adjusting from handling Moussa’s physicality to AJLS’S runs, and his partnership with Murray perhaps looks the more fruitful.
