Labour’s Brexit policy chief said his party would back remaining in a new customs union with the European Union. Government Trade Secretary Liam Fox had a very different view and spoke of the need for divergence. @Bishopsrise said: “Their principle was to remain, but they said they would honour the referendum. They are protecting employment in this country as per their manifesto on the EU. It’s impeccable timing.” @Rozkez67 added: “Sick of hearing about Brexit since 2016 every day. Every discussion. @David_ Cameron is responsible for all of the chaos we are enduring. Tributes have been paid to former Vicar of Dibley actress Emma Chambers, who has died at the age of 53. @elliot_gonzalez said: “So so sad. She was only 53 which is no age at all.
