Scotland crushed England 25-13 in the Six Nations thanks to a first-half display that saw them score three tries. It was the first time Scotland had scored multiple tries against England at Murrayfield since 1998. @leobirch said: “Insane stat: Scotland have only scored TWO tries at home against England in the entire history of the Six Nations, the last of those being in 2004!” @jk_rowling added: “SCO 25 ENG 13 THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING BUT IT IS.” @Marshall__96 said: “Does Scotland have a collective hangover? Cause I’ve woken up with an awful headache and I don’t even drink... #Calcutta Cup #Winners.”

#BREXIT

Labour’s Brexit policy chief said his party would back remaining in a new customs union with the European Union. Government Trade Secretary Liam Fox had a very different view and spoke of the need for divergence. @Bishopsrise said: “Their principle was to remain, but they said they would honour the referendum. They are protecting employment in this country as per their manifesto on the EU. It’s impeccable timing.” @Rozkez67 added: “Sick of hearing about Brexit since 2016 every day. Every discussion. @David_ Cameron is responsible for all of the chaos we are enduring. He walked away within days of ref and left this country & its people in a rabbit hole.” @SDB57 said: “This far into the process and only now #Labour has agreed to “develop” #Brexit policy. Pitiful.”

#EMMACHAMBERS

Tributes have been paid to former Vicar of Dibley actress Emma Chambers, who has died at the age of 53. @elliot_gonzalez said: “So so sad. She was only 53 which is no age at all. Growing up, I always remember the jokes she’d react to at the end of each episode.” @sothcott added: “RIP the wonderful #Emmachambers - best known for The Vicar of Dibley but also stole every scene in Notting Hill. Only 53.” @essoblu said: “Such a wonderful talent who brought fun and laughter to young and old in her work.”
