MPS targeted

-

Labour will target vulnerable SNP MPS in seats with at-risk NHS hospital services, with Mhairi Black among the nationalists in the firing line.

I remember all the years that Labour were in power... everything was wonderful. NOT. Despite having Labour in power at Westminster they consistently underfunded the NHS and wasted fortunes on PFI.

The SNP closed Lockhart Hospital in Lanark two years ago. A community resource closed by SNP cuts in Lanark and Hamilton East. SNP MSP and MP did nothing to help.

Jim Quinn Funny how Labour shout about things like the NHS yet can produce no details of where they would find the money to fund services.

Chris Knight

Everyone knows the NHS is broken so it’s an easy target. I don’t have a problem with what Labour are doing – as long as they have a workable, funded solution as a genuine alternative. No point in just going off on one if they can’t offer a solution.

Graham Walker

Mhairi Black wouldn’t last a day in the private sector, and yet she commands a political position for the SNP.

Cynical work by Labour who should be concentrating their fire on the Tories. Mhairi Black is just the latest socialist MP of generations of socialists attacked by the Labour Party. She will survive. Her fine work on the rights of the elderly will be rewarded.

Andy Mckean I’m not quite sure which is more strange, that Labour believe there is going to be an early General Election or that they believe they are going to win it?

Arch Stainton This would be very good political tactics from Labour. My prediction is at the next GE many people will return to voting Labour in Scotland. People see Mrs Sturgeon for what she is, a talker not a doer. Throwing Miss Black off the gravy train would be a good thing.
