Tried and failed
As a young Englishman I had three happy years working in Scotland in the late Sixties. I also enjoyed attending the rugby internationals at Murrayfield and eventually bought debenture seats.
Over the years the atmosphere became unpleasant so I decided to sell my debentures and use the funds to buy two more at Cardiff, where the spectators appreciate the sport and behave respectfully to the opposition, even the English. Having read about the behaviour of some Scots, and comments by a former renowned Scottish international whom I admired, I know I will never attend Murrayfield again, even if invited. Rugby is the big loser.
