Findel in tightening of links with Mike Ashley
The board of Findel, the online value retail and education business, is exploring the possibil‑ ity of further developing the commercial supply arrangements between its Express Gifts subsidi‑ ary and retail tycoon Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct International. The move follows successful recent pilot‑ scale commercial tests of Sdi‑licensed cloth‑ ing brands on Express Gifts’ UK website, which it says were designed “to strengthen Express Gifts’ product offer for the value‑ conscious customer”.
Findel said that its board has agreed that Liam Rowley, Head of Strate‑ gic Investments for Sports Direct, will attend board meetings as an observer.
