St Mirren Ultra-valuable fans

Without a game, and without much happening anywhere at the weekend, now would be a good time to reflect on the importance of St Mirren’s “Ultras” at this time. The word Ultra is a strange one, as usually one would link it to stereotypical bald, muscular eastern-europeans with more fireworks than Glasgow Green on Guy Fawkes Night. However, looking at all of the hurdles our club’s hierarchy have put in front of the “North Bank” lads, it makes the fact that their section is growing and still creating an atmosphere at the Paisley 2021 Stadium even better. These groups, along with others across the country, are becoming the lifeblood of our clubs, and should be looked at as a way of generating more support and numbers for clubs.
