Lobster creels stolen from fishermen
More than 250 lobster creels worth thousands of pounds have been stolen from fishermen based in Buckie.
Police said two incidents have been reported over the past six weeks, with 150 creels stolen from the Great Western Road area of the Moray town and 120 stolen from a business in Commercial Road.
Both thefts have been valued at high four-figure sums and police are appealing for any information on the unusual crime.
The creels that were taken from Great Western Road were handmade by the owner.
