Scottish Labour have made a horror spelling mistake at today’s party conference in Dundee. The party proudly promoted the “Keir Hardy” awards on a massive screen displayed behind Scottish Labour leader Richard Leonard.

@CROWSNP joked: “To be fair to red Tory branch office it’s easy to misspell words. I’ve been spelling Labour as T-o-r-i-e-s for years.”

@Homemckee said: “I thought the ‘Y’ might have been too subtle. How can the Labour Party misspell Hardie?”

#IWD2018

Every International Women’s Day, British comedian Richard Herring spends his time finding people asking “When is International Men’s Day?” and politely telling them the answer: November 19. This year he used it as a way to raise over £100,000 for a domestic violence charity.

@Herring1967 tweeted in reply to one of the Twitter users: “Yup, November 19th. Make a note in your calendar so you don’t do the same again this year.”

@Pete_r_knox added: “I’m going to pretend I don’t know there is an international 24 hours for gents to see if Richard Herring pulls me up about it.”

@Refugecharity posted: “He’s only gone and done it, and then some! Thank you, thank you, thank you @ Herring1967 for raising an unbelievable, humongous total of £100,000+. It’s been hilarious following your tweets all day. Happy #IWD!”

@Herring1967 added: “Raising £100,000 releases me from the curse. Then I can go out with my wife and celebrate the wonder of women, rather than ponder on the stupidity of men (and also some women).”
