Young Scots seek winning end to campaign in Bari

-

Head coach Stevie Scott has made two changes to the Scotland Under-20 team to face Italy in Bari tomorrow.

Stirling County’s Logan Trotter replaces the injured Rory Mcmichael on the wing, with Sam Yawayawa named on the bench.

Glasgow Hawks’ Paul Cairncross makes his first start of the campaign at hooker, replacing captain Robbie Smith, who suffered an ankle injury in last week’s defeat by Ireland in Dublin.

The young Scots secured a losing bonus point against the Irish and will look to end their campaign with a win at Bari’s Stadio della Vittoria. “It would be a really good championship for us if we can win this game in Italy,” said Scott. “It will be a challenge, but the squad have trained well this week and we’re really looking forward to the fixture.”
