Aberdeen It’s ours to mess up
Results at the weekend fell nicely for us and we are now back in a position where we are effectively masters of our own destiny. Being two points behind second with a game in hand means it is for us to mess up in the league now as we don’t require help from other teams. But even with only eight games left it is almost certain this situation will change one way or another.
Similarly, with the cup semi-final to come, we are again in a great position to return to another cup final. It’s hard not to agree with the comments about accumulating suspensions for cautions in the cup. Two yellows in three games mean you are banned from a semi-final and that doesn’t sit well given sometimes card-happy referees.
