Clyde into play-off spot after 10th victory in 13

Resurgent Clyde picked up a tenth win in 13 games as they defeated Cowdenbeat­h 2-0 at Central Park to jump into a play-off place.

Chris Mcstay put the Bully Weeaheadon­12minutesf­rom 12 yards and they grabbed their second on 61 minutes when David Goodwillie slotted past David Mcgurn.

Mcstay grabbed his second when he cracked home from the edge of the box with eight minutes left.

Stirling Albion moved closer to securing an extension to their season with a 2-2 draw against Edinburgh City at Forthbank.

City took the lead on 11 minutes when Graham Taylor capitalise­d on a mistake by home goalkeeper Craig Wight.

However, Darren Smith tapped in an equaliser 13 minutes later.

Stirling edged ahead on 56 minutes with Ross Smith’s header but Farid El Alagui levelled with 20 minutes left.

Berwick twice came from behind to grab a point in a 2-2 tie with Elgin at Shielfield.

Elgin’s Stephen Bronsky forced the ball home after 41 minutes but his goal was cancelled out on 69 minutes when Jack Hamilton volleyed in. Darryl Mchardy put Elgin back in front six minutes later butan87th-minutedriv­efrom substitute Aaron Murrell saw the points shared.
