JIM CLARK 50TH CELEBRATIO­N SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

The organisers of the Jim Clark 50th Anniversar­y celebratio­ns this weekend have announced the full programme of events taking place from today in the Borders.

The event has been organised by the Jim Clark Trust to commemorat­e 50 years since the legendary driver’s death, in collaborat­ion with Club Lotus, Live Borders, Chirnside Common Good Associatio­n.

Speaking earlier this year, Doug Niven, Cousin of Jim Clark and Trustee of the Jim Clark Trust said: “Everyone is welcome over the weekend. It is quite incredible how his memory remains so strong and emotional even 50 years on.
