Mouat books his semi-final place
Curling: Scottish curler Bruce Mouat is guaranteed a semifinal spot after beating Swiss skip Marc Pfister 8-6 at the World Championship in Las Vegas last night.
Mouat and team-mates Hammy Mcmillan, Bobby Lammie and Grant Hardie were already through to the medal play-offs, but a tenth win in 11 round robin matches means they are now just two more wins away from gold.
Pfister led 3-1 and 6-5 but the Scots came back to clinch victory at the tenth end. They face China’s Dejia Zou in their final round robin fixture.
