Trains stain

-

Many local authorities, together with some estate owners, spend a considerable amount of money in beautifying the environment. be it roadside verges or parkland. This is greatly appreciated by many.

The profusion of the yellow flower is well and truly a sign that spring is here.

However in many other locations the countryside is ruined by the indiscriminate discarding of litter, be it glass, plastic or can. The railways suffer the worst as nearly every overbridge embankment is a suitable place for many to dispose of their litter. As this is on Network Rail property no voluntary clean-up group can be involved. NR dont have a budget for clean-up so maybe the scottish government could assist.

Visitors and tourist alike are horrified at this stain
