Hamilton Accies Biggest game of season

All things considered, it wasn’t a bad weekend for us. Our goal difference only decreased by one and only Ross County did better than us. The Celtic game was all about damage limitation and we achieved that despite the efforts of referee Andrew Dallas. Celtic weren’t keen to waste much energy and it seemed they would always have had enough on the pitch to beat us.

The downside is that we’ve now lost four consecutive matches and that’s not good for confidence even if they were against better teams. We play Killie on Saturday and I agree with Martin Canning when he says it’s the biggest game of the season. If we can somehow get the three points, we’ll be in good shape for the post-split fixtures. Even if we lose, there are still three teams who’d like to be where we are.
