Dumbarton Tiredness no excuse

I can only hope the reason for us shipping five goals, twice, over the space of a week is because we’re looking ahead to the play-offs. There is no doubt tiredness has begun to creep in but is that an excuse for losing 11 goals in three games?

Stephen Aitken has said he is likely to rest players this Saturday against Dunfermline so that will give us a good picture of who is likely to start in the play-offs. Some Sons fans may tell you that the players who are likely to come in – Dimitris Froxylias, Liam Burt, Mark Stewart – are better than those who will be rested but I’ve talked about that enough this season!

Just getting away from Dunfermline with no fresh injury concerns will be a completely fine way to finish our regular league campaign.
