What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

My husband and my darling friend Marc, who used to work at Grazia together, found a YSL two piece suit in a vintage shop on Easter Sunday. They forced me to buy it and kept telling me how cool it was. I got it home and realised that, as separates, it went with so many pieces already in my wardrobe. It’s so cool.

What are you addicted to buying?

Jeans. I love wearing them. Any colour too, and I’ll team them with anything from Converse to a high heel. They are just such a staple in my wardrobe.

Best ever bargain?

An Alice Temperley dress. It was originally over a thousand pounds and I bought it for £130.

Who has great style?

Jenna Lyons, Rosie Huntington-whiteley and Kate Moss.

Name your favourite high street shop.

Zara, and I love & Other Stories too.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

I bought myself a lime green trouser suit from Oasis when I first started modelling. I wore it with trainers. For some reason, I thought I was unbelievably cool.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My Mulberry handbag goes everywhere with me. n Charlotte will be appearing on the Lifestyle Stage (The Royal Society of Edinburgh, George Street) at the Edinburgh Life & Style event at 3pm on 5 and 6 May, tickets £10 for a full day (Saturday or Sunday), see www.edinlifestyle.co.uk
