Motoring ahead: Coach firm D&E rolls out £1m fleet expansion

Inverness coach hire firm D&E Coaches has completed a £1 million investment in new vehicles plus a £200,000 extension of its Henderson Drive base in the city. It brings the firm’s fleet up to 84 buses and coaches – a leap from three years ago when its 50th vehicle was acquired. Managing director Donald Mathieson said: “We have taken delivery of 13 new coaches in the past four months, each seating from 37 to 45 people. This is a significant investment for us and comes in response to a busy forward workload.”
