Man in court over alleged chainsaw attack

Am an has appeared in court accused of attempted murder after another man was allegedly attacked with a chainsaw.

Police were called to Caird Park in Dundee at about 4pm on Wednesday, where they found a man in his sixties with serious, but not life - threatening, injuries.

Joe Brown ,44, was charged with attempted murder when he appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court yesterday.
