Missing girl found safe and sound

Police have reported that a teenager who had been missing for five days has been found.

The family of Wanessa Strzelecka had earlier raised concerns that she did not have access to daily medication. The Edinburgh College student was last seen by her mother as she left her Niddrie home for classes on Tuesday. However, she did not arrive at the campus.

Police Scotland said: “We’re happy to confirm that missing girl Wanessa Strzelecka was traced in Edinburgh a short time ago. Thanks everyone for assisting with our appeal.”
