Aberdeen’s Xodus Group inks £ 5m of field development work
Energy consu lt ancyXod us Group is celebrating a “strong” 12 months that has included winning £ 5 million worth of field development work.
The Aberdeen-based firm was awarded two projects by Apache for its St or rand Seagull developments.
For Storr, Xodus will exam- in easpectssuc has subs ea pipeline design, flow assur - ance, corrosion engineering coatings selection and structural and environmental support.
The second award was f or subsea engineering associated with the Seagull development. Xodus previously completed the concept selection phase of the development and this new award takes the design of a planned tieback to the next stage.
Like Storr, the scope includes pipeline engineering, materials and corrosion support, manifold sand structures engineering, as well as environmental impact support.
Xodush as also won work with Woodside Energy in Senegal, West Africa. Further success in Japan, Australia and Africa brought the total to £ 5m, including work outside of oil and gas.
