New boss steps into Dr Martens

Dr Martens has poached the chief executive of Cath Kidston to head up the British footwear brand.

Incoming boss Kenny Wilson has been at the helm of the clothing and homewares retailer since 2011, after serving as president of Claire’s stores in Europe. Dr Martens chairman Paul Mason said: “As we enter the next phase of [our] history, we are well placed to deliver on our strategic priorities.”
