Wood Group wins work for German biotech site

A b e r d e e n - b a s e d e n e rg y and engineering ser vices heavyweight Wood Group has secured a multi- mil - lion- pound contract for a biotech facilit y in Germany.

The firm said its deal with Teva Biotech would see it provide engineering, proc u r e me n t , c o n s t r u c t i o n m a n a g e m e n t , c o m m i s - sioning and qualification f or t he new f acili t y t o b e built in Ulm.

The pl a nt wil l pr o duce pharmaceutical i ngredients from cell cultures in a new eight- storey building to b e constructed within Teva’s existing biotech site.
