Can we blame them?

Auld Reekie Why is this even news? Businesses make business decisions, no big deal.

Med1a One EWM are not alone, increase taxation for anyone from junior management up, SNP continuously adding uncertainty by going on and on and on about independence (and the undoubted costs that will be incurred). None of this encourages business either to remain in Scotland or, in fact, set up here!

LR2018 The grievance-hatchers will have a ball over this... just watch the threats and boycotts against Edinburgh Woollen Mill. The sad fact is that, under the SNP bungling, the Scottish economy is lagging further and further behind England. Many more companies will follow EWM’S example. If the refugees are not citizens of the UK, then they should never be allowed to vote. This is nothing more than a cheap vote padding move on behalf of the SNP!

A Fine Disregard Absolutely ridiculous plan. Apart from anything else, refugees and asylum seekers have insufficient knowledge of Scotland for any vote to be meaningful. Only UK passport holders should have a vote as to who is to govern them.

Derek Farmer In a further announcement, the SNP said tourists, including those on weekend breaks as well as international performers at the Fringe, will also be given a vote.
